PLACE IN ZODIAC
SIXTH HOUSE – Reveals our daily responsibilities, food intake, sleep pattern, and cleanliness. Commonly referred to as the house of health and physiological issues. How we react and confront in the face of a personal crisis, illnesses and reversals of fortune are depicted in this house. The work we do in life is the work we do on our self. Duty, responsibility and personal growth all contribute to the creation of a fully-realized being. Fitness, and exercise are covered in this sixth house, as are checkups and visits to the dentist.
SYMBOL
THE VIRGIN – Represents discernment, innocence, and supportive energy. Virgo’s symbol is shown as a woman carrying a sheaf of wisdom, representing the harvesting of wheat at the time of year of the Virgo season. The Virgin symbol shows itself in the lives of Virgo’s through a love of all that is “natural” and a certain purity of spirit that keeps Virgo’s self-sufficient and self-contained. Sensitive to their surroundings, they tend to embarrass easily. In the same way that Virgo is acutely aware of flaws and anything that might be off or wrong, the Virgin is naturally mindful of what’s right and wrong.
POLARITY
YIN – Reflects negative or passive or feminine principle. Relates to nature denotes depth, peace, darkness relating itself with the moon, the night, the water, feminine side, the color black or blue, a soft voice, calm movements, the earth, the sleep, the soul, autumn, etc. Yin is better suited to work inside the organization such as detailing. Yin reflects or symbolizes cold, soft, passive and mysterious aspects.

EARTH – Grounded, stable, practical, reliable, and materialistic. Represents matter and our physical body, and our daily routines. Posses good attention to detail. Hardworking; builders of the zodiac. Tend of gravitate toward caution and conservatism in both desire and approach. Can materialize goals or aspirations unto the physical realm. Lack of direction especially in career or finances can result in bitterness, stubbornness, possessive and near nearsightedness.
QUALITY
MUTABLE – Arrive at the conclusion of each of the Solar Season. Can change their form of expression to whatever a situation requires. Adaptable, flexible and highly resourceful. Often described as being diplomatic and assisting others through transitions. Ability to quickly come up with solutions and ideas. Negative aspects include being perceived as being too detail-oriented, inconsistent, uncommitted and unreliable.
RULING PLANET
MERCURY – Roman deity, the messenger of the gods. The planet of intellect, communication, coordination awareness, and logic. It is an opportunistic planet, decidedly unemotional and curious. The planet asks us to examine what style of communication we use, how we make decisions, and how we pick up, process, absorb, and exchange information. Our manner of thinking, and how we create and express our thought processes are all within Mercury’s domain. Also rules technology and travel. Takes about 59 Earth days to spin once on its axis.
GEMSTONE
SAPPHIRE – Promotes protection, good fortune and spiritual insights. Considered to be the stone of wisdom and royalty, of prophecy and Divine favor. Symbol of power and strength, but also of kindness and wise judgment. Helps embraces order, structure, and self-discipline, and is ideal for accomplishing goals and manifesting ideas into form. Ability to assist during times of change to maintain clear vision of where it is you want to go and how to get there. Also has the power to transmute negative thoughts and energy also makes it highly effective for earth and chakra healing.
TAROT
THE HERMIT – Represents wisdom, inward reflection, and solitude. Stand on the park of a mountaintop, the bearded mans struggles have lead him to inward reflection and an uphill climb and rising him above any distractions by focusing on his mission. This card challenges us to find comfort in solitude, and to use quiet time alone to absorb the answers we need. Wisdom gained during times of solitude is meant to be shared with others. This wisdom is represented in the Hermit’s lantern, which is lit by a glowing star. This star is the Seal of Solomon which symbolizes wisdom.The meditative Hermit also reminds Virgo to balance the meticulous details of daily life with a healthy dose of spirituality.
