Their persevering attitude can be quite “bull-headed” and possess a determined mindset when they have a goal in mind. Often quite disturbed by sudden changes as they prefer to live stable and secure lives. YIN – Reflects negative or passive or feminine principle. Relates to nature denotes depth, peace, darkness relating itself with the moon, the night, the water, feminine side, the color black or blue, a soft voice, calm movements, the earth, the sleep, the soul, autumn, etc. Yin is better suited to work inside the organization such as detailing. Yin reflects or symbolizes cold, soft, passive and mysterious aspects. EARTH – Grounded, stable, practical, reliable, and materialistic. Represents matter and our physical body, and our daily routines. Posses good attention to detail. Hardworking; builders of the zodiac. Tend of gravitate toward caution and conservatism in both desire and approach. Can materialize goals or aspirations unto the physical realm. Lack of direction especially in career or finances can result in bitterness, stubbornness, possessive and near nearsightedness. FIXED – In the middle of the four Solar Seasons. Stabilizers of the zodiac so they are the ones who set up a solid goal or foundation, then begin building. Possess the discipline to fully realize their ideas into form. Solid, generally loyal, and consistent. Tendency to defend their position and are the least welcoming of change. Negative aspects include tendency to hang on to the past, stubbornness, and can develop superiority complex. VENUS – Roman Goddess of love. The planet of grace, charm, beauty, love, and money. Rules our attachments to others and attractiveness to both the ability to attract and attraction to others. The planet is content to spread happiness and tenderness, while teaching us how to love and appreciate others and the things that we possess. The arts such as music, dance, drama, and literature fall within the realm this planet. Is also the planet of our inner desires, while Mars is about how we act on those desires. Dedicated in the ancient world to the goddess Venus for its ability to insure security in love. Also also used by healers to help heal the heart. It is considered by many to be the stone of prophecy. For some the emerald acts as a tranquilizer for a troubled mind. The emerald is said to bring the wearer reason and wisdom. Great vision and intuition, associated with the eyes and sight, long believed to foretell future events and reveal one’s truths. THE HIEROPHANT – Represents spirituality, conformity and tradition. The crown communicates that he holds a position of authority and like Taurus, he is a reliable and trusted source of information. The stone columns behind him symbolize the stability of his presence. Depicts the dependable though often stubborn nature of the Taurus individual. The two men are The Hierophant’s students. Like a teacher, The Hierophant encourages the expansion and teaching of higher knowledge and practical skills.
